RASP has prepared during 2022 a catalog on local plants varieties and animal breeds. This document has been prepared within the framework of the Agreement between the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Rural Association Support Program (RASP), in Albania.
The catalog was prepared by Prof. Ndoc Faslia, expert in plant genetic resources, Prof. Assoc. Petrit Dobi, expert in rural development, and PhD. Roland Bardhi, expert in rural development.
In addition to the authors, RASP collaborators in the regions, Agim Rama, Arjeta Kanari, Ardian Xama, Pëllumb Hodo, Melda Kullolli, Vangjush Cicolli, contributed to the preparation of this document. Contributions were also made by communities in the region of Korçë, Përmet and Malësia e Madhe, as well as by the FAO Office in Albania and the FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia.
